ReplyDelete1) I view Ender as a strong person. He was able to leave everyone and everything he knew and he didnt get upset. Even knowing that there would be a good chance he'd never see them again he still chose to go and help the government.
ReplyDelete2) I chose this song by 'NSYNC because when i think of him going to play in a video game it makes me think of space. The cowboy part of it reminds me of a boy that is strong and brave.
Riprock, AG
Come in over
Yo, turn me up
I wanna be heard
See, I'm talking bout the future y'all
And the future looks bright
'specially when we rip in half
Here it comes, millennium
And everybody's talkin' bout Jerusalem
Is this the beginning or beginning of the end?
Well, I've got other thoughts my friend
See I've got my eyes on the skies
The heavenly bodies up high
And if you're in the mood to take a ride
Then strap on a suit and get inside
If you wanna fly, come and take a ride
Take a space ride with the cowboy, baby
If you wanna fly, come and take a ride
Take a space ride with the cowboy, baby
Why-yi-yi-yippie-yi-yay-yippie-yi-yo-yippie-yi-yay
Why-yi-yi-yippie-yi-yay-yippie-yi-yo-yippie-yi-yo
Why-yi-yi-yippie-yi-yay-yippie-yi-yo-yippie-yi-yay
Why-yi-yi-yippie-yi-yay-yippie-yi-yo-yippie-yi-yo
We don't need all these prophecies
Telling us what's a sign, what's a sign
Cause paranoia ain't the way to live your life from day to day
So leave your doubts and your fears behind
Don't be afraid at all
Cause up in outer space there's no gravity to fall
Put your mind and your body to the test
Cuz up in outer space is like the wild wild west
If you wanna fly, come and take a ride
Take a space ride with the cowboy, baby
If you wanna fly, come and take a ride
Take a space ride with the cowboy, baby
Why-yi-yi-yippie-yi-yay-yippie-yi-yo-yippie-yi-yay
Why-yi-yi-yippie-yi-yay-yippie-yi-yo-yippie-yi-yo
Why-yi-yi-yippie-yi-yay-yippie-yi-yo-yippie-yi-yay
Why-yi-yi-yippie-yi-yay-yippie-yi-yo-yippie-yi-yo
[Left-Eye of TLC]
Boom and never let you try to stop me
Born to fly sky high up to the top see
Nothing to fear, no doubts and no tears
Millennium sound to motivate the future years
And you can either be scared or get prepared
Against all odds I bet you never would've dared
To make these moves and take flight like me
To come through for the world prophecy
Space connect to overthrow your interception
Ready or not make it hot
That ain't no question
Get *N Sync and put your head to the sky
Keep the faith
One love from Left Eye
If you wanna fly, come and take a ride
Take a space ride with the cowboy, baby
If you wanna fly, come and take a ride
Take a space ride with the cowboy, baby
If you wanna fly, come and take a ride
Take a space ride with the cowboy, baby
If you wanna fly, come and take a ride
Take a space ride with the cowboy, baby
If you want to fly
Come and take a ride
Take a space ride with a cowboy

Why-yi-yi-yippie-yi-yay-yippie-yi-yo-yippie-yi-yo
1.) Ender is both physically and mentally strong. He beat the crap out of two older boys already, and, although taken from his family, seems very calm and level headed. He is taking his unfortunate situation very well for someone of his age.
ReplyDelete2.)
His name is ender wiggin
Hes smart and like to fight
He was taken from his family
And is learning how to fight
He wants to kill some buggers
And learn some kewl new tricks
Maine what we doin?
Enders game REMIX! =D
1.)
ReplyDeleteEnder is a strong character. At only 6 years old, he is a super genius. He only fights when antagonize4d and uses smart gbattle tactics, like when he took down Stilson. He constantly fought to keep alive with Peter, and kept his emotions down. It takes a strong person to keep cool and quiet when a family member antagonizes you. Ender isn't mean, just smart. He only attacks when neccessary, not to be cruel. And when Ender is all alone at Battle School, he doesn't break down and cry like the other boys. He swallows his tears and stays strong, like a real man. Like a soldier. Like a hero? We'll see
2.)
Ender's theme song should be Rocket Man by Elton John.
"And i think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think i am at home
Oh no no no i'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone
And i think it's gonna be a long long time..."
First of all, it reflects how Ender is all alone at Battle School. Also, Ender is different outside of home. He actually fights and keeps his own. At home he keeps quiet and lets Peter antagonize him. Also, his family might not see him for a long time, and Ender might become a military hero in the meantime.
1) I think Ender is a strong person. He is,at only 6 years old, having to deal with torment for just simply being born as a third child. He is even having to deal with the pain of leaving his family who he loves to go to a battle school to learn to fight. At this battle school he is even disliked and singled out by students and teachers. He is stuck in a place where he is outnumbered and has no one to confide in. It takes a strong person to keep your emotions to yourself and not break down under those kinds of circumstances.
ReplyDelete2) I chose the song Headstrong by Trapt.
"Circling your, circling your, circling your head,
Contemplating everything you ever said
Now I see the truth, I got doubt
A different motive in your eyes and now I’m out
See you later
I see your fantasy, you want to make it a reality paved in gold
See inside, inside of our heads (yeah)
Well now that’s over
I see your motives inside, decisions to hide
Back off I’ll take you on
Headstrong to take on anyone
I know that you are wrong
Headstrong we’re headstrong"
I think it describes the government in his life and how they can literally see inside his head and monitored his every move and now hes reaching the point at this battle school where hes ready to take on anything and how he might be quiet but on the inside he's full of rage at this point.
well i think he is weak.BEcause he kicks people where the sun dont shine. The song that this reminds me of is Swag Surfin because he is a cool 6 year old.
ReplyDelete1. Ender is a strong person, he is only 6 and he has already made decisions that in our world only adults make.
ReplyDelete2. Ender's theme song would be "Waking the Demon" by Bullet for My Valentine.
"There's not much longer, so don't try and hide,
Your body's weakening, walk to the light!
Those painful times so alone, so ashamed!
I'm not coming back, there's nothing to gain."
Ender has been put through alot in his 6 years. This is saying that all of that has finally pushed him over the edge and he is about to explode, like he did on Stilson and Bernard.
1)Ender is a weak and strong person. He is strong because he beat up Bernard in Chapter 4 and he handeled isolation really well. But he is weak because he would never stand up to Peter.
ReplyDelete2)Echo & The Bunneymen Show of Strength would be Ender's theme song because he tries to show his strength through all the obstacles he faces.
"A show of strength
Is all you want
You can never set it down.."
1) I believe that Ender is an extremely strong person. He deals with things that no child should ever deal with, adults couldn't even deal with it. He is made mentally strong by isolation and bullying he goes through, and he is then shown to be physically strong with the way he deals with his tormentors. For example; he hospialises Stilson in chapter 1 and breaks Bernards arm in chapter 4.
ReplyDelete2)Space Dementia by Muse is my choice for Ender's theme song because it talks about war, twisted games and even says "we'll destroy this world for you."
"H 8 is the one for me
It gives me all I need
And helps me co-exist with the chill
You make me sick because I adore you so
I love all the dirty tricks
And twisted games you play on me
Space dementia in your eyes and
Peace will arise and tear us apart
And make us meaningless again
You'll make us want to die
I'd cut your name in my heart
We'll destroy this world for you
I know you want me to feel your pain
Space dementia in your eyes and
Peace will arise and tear us apart
And make us meaningless again"
1)Ender is, in a sense, a strong character. He seems to have a very level head and thinks things through before charging off to do something drastic. He's smart, he's got a purpose, and he's resourceful. However, I do think he is a weak character, as I feel that Card does not develop him very well and I, in turn, find him rather boring and predictable. But then, we've only read through less than a fourth of the book, so he may get better.
ReplyDelete2)I chose Ender's Game by Orphanage because I could not think of a single song that pertained to the book, so I just typed "Ender's Game music" into Google and this song popped up. It's legit, I think... at least, you can buy it off iTunes. But I don't know why you would, cause it's horrible. However, it does relate to Ender's Game as the lyrics pretty much straight up explain the entire premise of the novel.
"Welcome to Battle School... Your talents will only find their use to wipe the buggers from the universe... Don't get insecure as doubt leaves lethal trace... Come and lead the troops to victory... Win this game in Ender's name."
Something like that. You can click on my name to view all the lyrics.
1.) I view Ender as a firly strong person, especially for a 6 year old. The way Stilson and Bernard mess with him and how Ender severely hurt them, Stilson being hospitalized, proved his strength, physically. Another instance was Ch.5 when Ender was sad and counted by mutiples of 2 until he felt better instead of crying shows his mental and emotional strength a well as his arithmetic intelligence strength taught to him by his sister Valentine.
ReplyDelete2.) Ender's theme song should be "Gotta Go" by Trey Songz. It descrides Ender's feelings about leaving to go to Battle School and about his emotion leaving his sister.
"It's calling my soul
It's calling my mind
So girl I gotta go
And I really wish I could
Stay a little bit longer
Love you a little bit longer
Gotta answer dry your eyes
Girl don't cry
'Cause I don't want to leave
But I gotta go right now"
1)Ender is strong in some ways and weak in others. He will go along with most anything other people want him to do or be and he analizes situations to see how he should act to stay in peoples good graces, like at the shuttle launch he didnt go to the cameras when he wanted to. His personality is fairly weak, but he is also strong in that he does not show his emotions to the people around him and he can stop himself from crying. he has a very strong mind and he can be very strong willed if its something he wants, he will find a way to make it happen, like in the situation with Bernard and making everyone get along.
ReplyDelete2)Paparazzi by Lady Ga Ga
Shadow is burnt, yellow dance and we turn,
My lashes are dry, purple teardrops I cry,
It don't have a price, loving you is cherry pie
'Cause you know that baby I
I'm your biggest fan I'll follow you until you love me,
Papa-paparazzi,
Baby there's no other superstar you know that i'll be your
Papa-paparazzi
Promise i'll be kind, but i won't stop until that boy is mine,
Baby you'll be famous chase you down until you love me,
Papa-paparazzi
1.)I view Ender as a strong person. "No, he had meant to hurt him, and had pulled with all his strength.", "I wanted to win all the next ones, too. So they'd leave me alone.", and "I thought that was what you valued most in him- that he settles his own problems." Ender is not the typical child. He does not cry out for help from adults. Ender tries to handle his own problems. In solving his problems, he thinks about the end result. that result is something that he works though. It is very logical.
ReplyDelete2.)His them song should be "No One" by Aly and AJ. I think Ender is trying to find himself. He also has to realize who he is, but I think he is learning to accept himself they he is. He is saddened by the fact that he is an outcast.
"And I ask myself
Who do I wanna be?
Do I wanna throw away the key and invent a whole new me...
Don't wanna be
No one
But me"
I think Ender is a strong person. Number one, because he was chosen for battle shool. Another reasin why i believe this is because he stood up to the scool bully ,Stilson. He actually beat him up. Then after he did that, he repeatidly kicked him in the face so nobody else would mess with him. A weak person would have just gave Stilson their lunch money or something.
ReplyDelete1) Ender is a very strong person. He is able to deal with the trauma of being torn from his family not to mention planet and taken to a desolate friendless place where he is pushed and tested beyond what anyone else could possibly be expected to do.
ReplyDelete2) An appropriate song for Ender would be Spaceman by The Killers.
"It started with a low light,
Next thing I knew they ripped me from my bed;
And then they took my blood type,
they left a strange impression in my head.
You know that I was hoping,
That I could leave this star-crossed world behind;
But when they cut me open,
I guess I changed my mind.
And you know I might
Have just flown too far from the floor this time,
'cause they calling me by my name!
And the zipping white light beams
disregarding bombs and satellites!
That was the turning point;
That was one lonely night!
Well now I'm back at home and-
I’m looking forward to this life I live;
You know it's gonna haunt me,
So hesitation to this life I give.
You think you might cross over,
You caught between the devil and the deep blue sea;
You better look it over,
Before you make that leap!
And you know I'm fine, but I hear those voices at night
sometimes... they justify my claim,
and the public don’t dwell on my transmission
'cause it wasn’t televised...
But, it was a turning point,
Oh what a lonely night!
My global position systems are vocally addressed;
They say the Nile used to run from east to west,
They say the Nile used to run… from east to west.
I'm fine,
but I hear those voices at night,
sometime...
The star maker says, "It ain't so bad"
The dream maker's gonna make you mad;
The spaceman says, "Everybody look down!
Its all in your mind!"
The star maker says, "It ain't so bad"
The dream maker's gonna make you mad;
The spaceman says, "Everybody look down...
1) I believe that Ender is far stronger than he lets on. He may be only six years old, but he is far more wiser than the average six-year-old. He has had trouble with bullies in the past, such as Stilson and his gang, but he has managed to perservere so far. Stilson and his gang would not let Ender pass, so Ender decided enough was enough.
ReplyDelete"I have to win this now, and for all time, or I'll fight it every day and it will get worse and worse."
This is what Ender truly believed, so he takes on Stilson and his gang. He beat Stilson up so horribly that he had to go to the hosptial. I think Ender proved his point, don't you think?? Anyway, Ender is not, by any means, weak. He is smart, observant, and strong-willed, giving him an edge over the others.
"...But remember what I do to people who try to hurt me."
This is a really powerful quote, in my opinion. Ender knows how to handle himself and he knows that everybody has weak points. He has had to live with his brother, Peter, for six years. He hates Peter, but Ender soon realizes that his brother had truly helped him out.
"Thank you for this, Peter. For dry eyes and silent weeping. You taught me how to hide anyything I felt."
I believe , will progress in his battles and studies. He is a terribly smart and tactical kid. He can do things others can't. He is a Third, after all. Ender the Third.
2)Ender's theme song should be "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse. It... just fits him. When he walks into a room, his presence is instantly recognized.
"Supermassive Black Hole"
Muse
Ooh, baby don't you know I suffer?
Ooh, baby can you hear me moan?
You caught me under fasle pretenses
How long before you let me go?
Ooh, you set my soul alight
Ooh, you set my soul alight
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
(Ooh, you set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
(Ooh, you set my soul)
I thought I was a fool for no one
But ooh, baby, I'm a fool for you
You're the queen of the superficial
And how long before you tell the truth?
Ooh, you set my soul alight
Ooh, you set my soul alight
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
(Ooh, you set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
(Ooh, you set my soul)
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
(Ooh, you set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive
(Ooh, you set my soul)
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
1) I think Ender is a very strong character. He is very smart to be 6 years old. He leaves his family and everything behind him for the safety of his sister. He has passion and feelings that noone else seems to have. He does what he's told even though he thinks its wrong. He misses his family, but goes anyways. He beats kids up stronger and older than him and puts up with the lame people he has to be around with no complain to anyone.
ReplyDelete2)I picked the song "Dedicated" by Linkin Park.
"Because this is dedicated to the kids
Dedicated to wherever music lives
Dedicated to those tired of the same ol' same
And dedicated to the people advancin' the game
What's real is the kids who know that something's wrong
What's real is the kids who think they don't belong
What's real is the kids who have nowhere to run
Who are hiding in the shadows waiting for the sun"
This part of the song talks about kids who feel like they dont belong, just like Ender felt in the beginning. Also, the name of the song grabbed my attention because Ender is very dedicated to his work. It also says its dedicated to the kids playing the game, which relates to the "game" or battle in the story.
COURTNEY said.
ReplyDeletein my opinion Ender is strong both mentally & physically. he is mature & acts as if he was already a teenager. in chapter 5 he doesn't cry or pit a fit because he has to sleep in the bed by the door. also, when the boys laugh at him he doesn't react, thats why i consider him yo be strong.
the song i picked is by LUDACRIS- stand up !
i picked it because i think that ender is a leader/strong person.
"when i move you move just like that, when i move you move just like that. heck yeah tell dj to bring that back."
The song that should be Ender's theme song is "Welcome to My Life" by SImple Plan. THe song talks about being left alone, and nobody being htere for you, and nobody knowing how your life feels. That's how i think Ender feels in the novel.
ReplyDelete"Do you wanna be somebody else?
Are you sick of feeling so left out?
Are you desperate to find something more?
Before your life is over
Are you stuck inside a world you hate?
Are you sick of everyone around?
With their big fake smiles and stupid lies
While deep inside you're bleeding"
